Frequently Asked Pigeon Forge Travel Questions
1. Do you charge my credit card when I make a reservation?
No – It is our policy at James Manor to obtain credit card information from our guests at the time of reservation as a guarantee to ensure you will arrive by midnight on the day of your arrival. Unless you have cancelled your reservation at least 48 hours before your arrival and have a valid cancellation number, we do charge one night’s room rate plus taxes to your credit card.
2. Do you allow refunds for no shows or early check outs?
No- we do not give any refunds for no shows or early check outs for whatever reasons.
3. Can I cancel my reservation online?
Yes – We recommend that you cancel your reservation online if you made the reservation online. Please do not call us to cancel any reservation that you made online. We do not process cancellation requests via e-mails as power outage or any other unforeseeable computer problem can prevent your cancellation from being received at the hotel.
4. Do you have any non-refundable reservations?
Yes – If you are making a reservation during the Pigeon Forge’s famous car show days in April and September each year, your credit card will be charged in full, for the entire stay (minimum 3 nights) at the time when you make your reservation. There are No REFUNDS allowed for any cancellations or no shows for the car show days.
5. Can I check your rates and availability online without making any reservation?
Yes – You can click on Reserve Now or Check Rates prompts on our web site to check the rates and availability by selecting your dates and room types that you require. You will be shown the rates and availability of various room types to enable you to make a secure reservation, change dates or leave the site.
6. Can I check my previously made reservation online or make changes (dates, number of people, room type)?
No – For all questions regarding your existing reservations, including any changes or cancellation, please make all changes or cancellations the way you made the reservation. Please call the hotel directly at (800) 453 – 4007 and speak with one of our Guest Representatives for further assistance.
7. If a room type is not shown on the dates I requested, does that mean there are no more rooms available for that date?
No – James Manor hotel does not always put its entire inventory online to avoid any over-sold situations. We recommend that you call the hotel directly at (800) 453 – 4007 to find out if we have any rooms available or not.
8. What is your maximum occupancy per room?
The maximum room occupancy for most of our rooms with 2 queen beds is 4 people. We allow 2 adults and 2 children < 12 years of age per room for free. If there is an extra adult, we do charge an extra $5 per adult per night. We do offer cribs (no charge) and rollaway bed ($10 per night) upon prior request and subject to availability. Please call the hotel for availability of our family suites, mini suites and rooms with king size bed with fireplace and/or jacuzzi.
9. Can I get an AAA, AARP, or Veterans discount online?
Yes – We do offer AAA, AARP and Veterans discounts to our guests upon presenting proper ID cards at the time of check-in only. If you do not have your valid ID card with you, we may not allow any discounts and you will be charged the regular room rate. We also offer discounts to our repeat as well as walk in guests. In addition, we do offer Manager’s Special on our web site for special offers from time to time. Please remember that you can get only ONE DISCOUNT per reservation. We do not allow any discounts during special events such as car show, holidays and some week-ends. Please call the hotel and check with one of our Guest Services Representatives, if you have a question.
10. Do you accept any groups?
Yes – We do have special rates for a variety of groups (such as church, social reunion, atheletes, business etc.) that require ten or more rooms. Our special group rates are applicable to all the rooms in the group. 11. Do you sell any tickets to attractions or shows in Pigeon Forge or have any packages?
Yes – We have recently teamed with a provider and are able to offer tickets for various attractions and shows as well as packages for your convenience. From our Packages page of the web site, you can pick and choose any attraction or shows of your liking or pick up a package that we have designed for more popular attractions or shows with a stay at James Manor. This will enable you to plan your vacation in Pigeon Forge and not bother about finding out about the tickets etc.
12. Do you allow pets?
James Manor hotel is not pet friendly and does not allow pets in the rooms. We apologize for this policy. Any violation will be subject to a penalty of $200 which will be charged to your credit or debit card.
13. Do you allow smoking in the hotel premises?
Our hotel is 100% non-smoking. We do not permit our guests to smoke in the hotel’s common areas such as lobby, swimming pool or hallways and guest rooms, including balconies. Any violation will be subject to a penalty of $200 which will be charged to your credit or debit card.
14. What time is check in/check out time?
Our check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. In case you happen to arrive early and your room is ready, we may allow you to check-in earlier at no additional cost. However, we do not guarantee early check in.

16. How do I get to your hotel from I-40?
For your convenience, we have included a Directions page on our web site for the most accurate directions. From I-40, take Exit 407 toward Pigeon Forge (about 13 miles away). Traffic lights in Pigeon Forge are numbered. We are located directly on the Parkway (Main Street) in Pigeon Forge, on the left hand side of the road just after traffic light #3 (when traveling toward Gatlinburg).
